Sorry about the small image, but it’s all I could find. This is by far the coolest, swingingest Christmas album I’ve heard - the Buselli Wallarab Jazz Orchestra. Not sure how widely available it might be. I don’t even remember where I got it. Great swing band arrangements and a terrific baritone vocalist. Pretty sharp recording, too.
Ah, come on, guys! Not ‘til after Thanksgiving!
I sorta agree, even though I’m a hardcore fan of the genre. But where I live now is less in this space weather-wise.
It does matter where you are in terms of the environment supporting the Feeling.
Please, feel free to post. Apologies for harshing any sort of Holiday Ho-Ho-Ho.
This is not about Charlie Brown’s distress related to Commercialism.
It is about the tunes.
So, actually - hang on. Here’s one that I will have to put on:
I consider it a victory if I do not hear popular Xmas music until after Halloween.
Charlie Brown and Mariah Carey deserve each other. Unfortunately they insist on dragging us along with them.
Oh c’mon Elk? Are you saying you are a Vince Guraldi hater?
Heck, I love Christmas music more than anybody. I’ve posted in this thread for two years. I can hardly wait for the festivities to begin! I just hate that Thanksgiving gets forgotten between Halloween and Christmas. Please, post all the Christmas music you want! I will too….after Thanksgiving.
