Which SACD Player to buy now?

Since PS Audio doesn’t currently offer a SACD Transport, which product would you buy today that outputs DSD?

I would wait to see what PS Audio comes up with

I bought the technics 700m2. It’s a solid unit. Reasonably priced for what you get.

… I’m looking very much forward to getting some details about PS Audio’s new SACD-Player at Axpona 2025? Well, let’s wait and see.

Happy cake day! How many SACD transports can one make? lol

I waited…and just made a deposit on the PMG Signature Series SACD Transport!

What am I missing? The new PMG looks exactly like the “old” PST except for the esthetics.
Have I missed the functional improvements?

I don’t think I heard there were any functional improvements. Mostly cosmetic to match the rest of the PMG offerings.

You’re not missing anything, Ron. Aside from a slight improvement in specs, noise, and Jitter, the two are the same.

Kalimera Paul and thanks! Hope you two enjoyed Greece.

What multi-channel SACD players are folks using or considering?

I have been very happy for the past 7 months using my DirectStream DAC MK2 DAC while playing Red Book CD’s and SACD’s but had hoped my next upgrade would be a new multi-channel SACD player with some DAC solution (perhaps multiple PSAudio DACS as I have seen mentioned here!) at some point. Right now I am using a SONY changer over an optical cable for Red Book CDs and my Oppo 83SE over I2S into a D.Bob into the DAC over COAX. They both sound great but my old NAD M5 SACD player usually adds something when playing the multi-channel SACD layers. That may be because my front speakers are Vandersteen 2C Signatures but my center is their VCC-5 which is higher up their food chain. Since I have hundreds of multi-channel SACD’s I would like to upgrade that path someday/somehow.

Thanks
