Tough call there, and a mental challenge. I’m going to abandon any pretense of making a point. Total sincerity dictates I respond Karen Carpenter. If I play Close to You, just to reassure my faith in humanity, I end up listening to at least another dozen tracks to feed my thirst for her beautiful timbre, intonation, style and musical moxie.
