Forgot to mention that this question is perfectly applied in my case, since none of the lightbulbs wanted to be replaced.
I feel your pain, last April I experienced the same thing. Think positive, the new color will bring SQ improvement for sure! Good luck and be patient.
Well said, Donald!
This tangled mess is my Synergistic Research Active Ground Block SE . Cables are a mix of Synergistic and my own homemade ones. The Ground Block also sits on a Tranquility Pod (overkill, but thatās how I roll). My Fyne F703s have ground terminals and yes, grounding the speakers made a surprisingly positive difference. I also added a second ground rod at my breaker panel.
My neuroticism is at eleven.
Obviously Iām a bachelorā¦
You definitely beat me, I have margin to improve the mess behind my rack having seen your pic. I can happily sleep tonight!
Nice setup!
I hid Puritan RouteMaster behind the fat rack posts between two components. It sits on top of two Isopuck76, and I cannot even see it most of the time. I have no idea if Isopods make any SQ differences, but they are extra in my storage.
Of course Iām a family man so this is a crucial step.
One positive thing about Puritan grounding devices is their size.
Clever solution! To be honest: those green wires arenāt charming at all! I had (have) the same bad feeling with my beloved Iconoclast XLRs.
Yes, I need a psychologist, I look also at the color of cables!
I donāt think relationship status has anything to do with it.
I am neat and tidy single, co-habitating, or married. Itās a state of being.
Those racks look like granite. Are they custom made?
I respectfully disagree with you, my friend. Iām a pretty tidy guy myself, but if I wasnāt⦠oh well, this wouldnāt be an option for the peace of mind of my marriage!
My next upgrade might be a Swiss Digital Fuse Box for my P15. May take a bit. . . my car is asking for a big allowance.
The fact that so many wires in this ratās nest cross at right angles is nothing short of miraculous.
If not carefully done and according to code, adding a second ground rod can cause problems. Some States in the U.S. only allow one ground rod for a main residence, some States two. But there are codes for how it needs to be done.
These racks were demo display in a store in Taiwan. The shelf are made with some kind of MDF composite with granite surfacing. The posts are filled with damping material. These racks are heavy to ship. They do a great job in vibration control than my old one.
Nice. I have a local granite shop that does great work and I had though about having them make some shelves for me to put in fabricated or machined frames that I was going to make.
Instead I decided to buy Timber Nation racks which are beautiful but still in a pile as the time to assemble them hasnāt presented itself.
Timber Nation racks are beautiful! Congratulations!
