I’m not sure if any of us are that insane or insanely rich. Those are getting close to the 7 figure world. The Bugatti’s of the speaker world AKA insanity.
I am not insanely rich. I am not even absurdly rich. I am better off than a Surivor winner. But compared to an ordinary lottery winner I am poor.
I just have issues saying no to large and very heavy audio gear. And really large audio cables. I have no ability to say no to really large audio cables.
Fuses. They weigh nothing. You could carry dozens in your pockets. Too light weight. They are of no interest to me.
I may have been considered wealthy at one time but I spent it all on cables and heavy amplifiers and preamps. And DACs. Lots of DACs. So many DACs. Each got a large and expensive power cable. And really fancy interconnects. It is right and just!
You are insanely rich in audio knowledge. Both music and gear and we all appreciate that!
You are being too modest my friend. Not only have you aquired many audio gears most people can only dream of, you have also shared a lot of gear and components with your audiophile friends without thinking twice. You are a very generous man and deserve the best. As for fuses, you are right. Your equipments are at a level any fuse is really insignificant.
It is a slippery slope. It started here:
Akai Integrated with matching FM Tuner.
Two turntables, no microphone.
ADS L710 speakers.
Then I bought a PS Audio DSD Jr.
Oops. Gateway drug.
Then that Rega Integrated.
And a Rega RP10. Sutherland Phono Preamp.
Then it started moving in new directions quickly.
So you see, baby steps the whole way. If it wasn’t for crime I wouldn’t have any of this.
Crime of the Century, Supertramp aficionado. We all should do a time lapse of our system evolution.
What’s the blue light gizmo on your amp?
$35 laser light show. It paints auras on my ceiling.
A bit boisterous at the moment.
It gives off enough light so the Head-tracking camera has enough light to follow my glasses and adjust the soundstage for where I am at the moment.
Kuhl.
As I listen to them at the moment I can’t complain. Weight is over rated.
When did the bunnies come in?
Is that a NBS Universal that makes an appearance in pic 4?
Do you still own it?

Just called for the Sale. P15 on sale. Gave another 1600 using my credit from my upgrade of MK1 to MK2 DAC. Nice deal. CT does not charge Tax with CO either…so even better. Thanks for the tip @hardlyknow1
I may not sell my P10 and use that for Theater side. P10 theater equipment, P15 2 channel, P20 for BHK300’s. My new room in design right now will have all equipment in one triple wide very tall synergy Rack from salamander, and amp with P20 on floor between speakers under screen. Yes they share the same room.
The bunnies have been a thing since i was 12. I always have bunnies.
NBS Universal 2 Preamp, Amps, and Power Conditioner. They were a gift from Walter, the owner of NBS. They are currently on loan to a friend. He likes them. He also has my ADS speakers and DSD Sr. DAC.
I have B.O.B.s
Bunnies Out Back
I build them rabbitat housing in my woods.
They are wonderful to watch.
Very cool preamp, would love to hear one sometime, glad someone is enjoying it

One of my favorite experiences was watching my father plant an unprotected garden specifically for the bunnies that he just couldn’t keep away from his summer crop.
For years I’ve been searching for the Polaroid that I took of my parents toiling in their garden while two bunnies feasted on the other side of the fence.
Tonight I took my Gryphon Commander Preamp out of my system. I used the Grimm MU2 as a
Preamp, Roon Server / Streamer and DAC. It sounded really nice. No complaints at all. Fine sound from one little box.
The Commander is back in now. It does sound better. $66K Preamp versus $18K wonder box. Not fair. But it wasn’t suffering, no sir. It could work just fine.
Thanks for the tip @aangen.
It’s possible I may have one of those wonder boxes by the end of the month.
