Your Next Upgrade? (Part 2)

The cup holders trump AC IME, assuming filled with the appropriate beverage

I do not like that word.

I fixed it.

No arguement. They do addresss the immediate need while edging in a most fine way.

The golf cart In Scottsdale has a little fan, plus a device to shoot water mist into the neck area. The problem is the rest of body still feels like an oven in hot summer morning (95F by 9:30am).

Did chics dig your golfer’s tan?

No chics stay in Scottsdale in summer time, only old guys!

One year we went there during spring break, and I was shocked to see so many people there. The population has grown 10 times bigger because of spring training from a bunch of pro baseball teams. There were surely a lot of chics during that time.

I have a sister that lives in Mesa, and baseball spring training can transform that town.
I just thought you might have taken advantage of that time in the sun in your formative youth.

Well, I was way passed my youth when visiting Scottsdale the first time. When you’re family man with kids you’re done. Golf, good food and wine, and playing with audio gear are the things to keep the old guy happy. Oh, occasionally I enjoy listening music too.:wine_glass:🏌🏽‍♂

A retro upgrade in the works?

My next upgrade is my turntable stand. I just ordered a HRS M3X2 Isolation base to replace my Symposium Ultra platform. The Symposium has been doing a great job, but the rabbit hole is calling to me. I’ll see if the HRS is any better. It’s a bit pricey though.
This is what I am using right now.

This is what I will be getting to replace the Symposium.

I use one of these for my turntable:

It has sharp points at the bottom. I have one for my Transport DAC as well.

Very nice indeed! Are they custom built sized to individual turntables?

They make some specifically for TechDAS turntables. But the one I bought looks just like that. It is made for my Artesania Rack. They now offer the top piece in a three material sandwich which include carbon fiber of course. I shudder to think what that costs! Probably like half a good power cable. The top of the rack has cups for the points. If one wanted to buy just the turntable rack they sell cupped feet in three different sizes to use with that setup.

More curious than looking to purchase. It likes to be a beautiful and effective turntable platform. I’ve heard HRS to good effect as well with AMG turntables.

Just trying to offer useful information.

LOL!
But seriously: no fence in front of the tv?

Good eye! Those cables are toast!!!

I happily report that I have a nest of 5 buns In front of my house. They are unbelievably cute and fun. They love parsley. I hope they stick around.
