New JL audio subs and new MBL 101 Es
Exceptional!
Thanks!
Always admired the Plinius stuff!
Thank you ! The Tautoro preamp is bigger than a lot of integrated amps.
One of the SA 103s amps is 15 years old and still going strong.
After seeing the 101e, was going to joke âI donât see subwoofersâ
.
Itâs a pair of f113v2s. My wife had approved the f112s, and she is still giving me trouble for the bigger f113s âŚ
Wow.
AgreeâŚexceptional!
Enjoy.
Thank you Scott.
I have been using a power cord adaptor for Puritan PSM-156, and I have tried four power cords and all of them are better than their Class+ PC. ZenWave PSR-11 is the best in my system with AQ Dragon came at a not-too-close second.
Then I converted the Furutech F50 NCF plug on ZenWave to a IF52 NCF plug so I do not need to use an adapter anymore. This has proved to be a great move because I heard instant improvement on a brand-new connector that supposed needing 500 hours of break in.
I am using a VooDoo Premium Silver adaptor which is one of the best out there. The adaptor has masked so much detail and cleanness from the system. So, my 2nd piece of advice is do not use any power cord adaptor!
That will work nicely in the PowerZone!
My thoughts exactly
Good to know, and not overly surprised.
This is going to sound self-serving considering I sold a VooDoo Silver Adapter to a member of the PS Audio Forum the beginning of this month but I never thought it degraded sound quality. I used it with a Shunyata Hydra 8 and their Taipan power cord.
Hopefully he is satisfied with it.
I use one of these as well from time to time. They are handy to have around. Rather than letting a decent 20 amp PC go unused the adapter is a fine option.
I credit (or blame) @aangen for this new addition. It arrived yesterday.
Congratulations! In my system it took over 200 hours to reach the peak. Wait, I am not sure it is fully broken-in yet. The sound is still improving but I have a few changes since then (a new connector plus a couple of new plug-in conditioners. There was something else that I forget what). Have fun!
I really love mine!
Supposed to be an excellent piece, a friend likes the preamp section enough to sell his top Esoteric preamp
That is interesting, to say the least.
