Your Next Upgrade? (Part 2)

I negotiated deal I couldn’t pass up -

Much as I would have liked to have gotten more head to head reviews of it - or in fact been able to hear it in person along with a Lumin U2 and an Aries G2.1 or even 2.2, the likelihood of any of that happening was near zero. I’m guessing (hoping, really) it’ll be better than an AL.

Wow Great. Let us know how it performs.

Is that the 130? She is a sexy thing!

Yes. Yes it is. :slightly_smiling_face:

The Apex, estelon, and rel subwoofer delivery device!

And it’s only $6500 lol

Al’s next upgrade link.

Maybe Gryphon or Estelon will include on next purchase.

I have a “J” shape stairway, and I don’t think this climber will work in my house. I need a baby one, maybe 1/2 price verson?

Wait! I do not have a basement, so I don’t think I need it. I will save for an electrical remote-control golf cart later. :golfing_woman:

Check in with @Dirk who solved the problem on moving his Wilsons to the upper floor of his abode.

That’s too funny!

Is the cable of the remote control upgradable? Al needs something fancier and thicker, a lot thicker!

Repeat photos always appreciated

They make a 660 pound capacity unit for $5k.

That would handle the Estelon extremes and a single Apex!

I was just going to put a chair on it for getting upand down the stairs.

One under each speaker would allow sitting in my listening chair and dialing in speaker position.

You are a genius! This is an indispensable feature required for all speaker manufacturers in the (near) future. It’s well known how lazy audiophiles are, the success of streaming comes to mind for example!

How wonderful it is to set up speakers from the couch!

Oh, and a laser measuring tool must be included, for people like me obsessed by symmetry.

Should be winging its way to me from a fellow forum member later this week.

Need to noodle on how to best arrange my various digital bits and bots to get the most benefit from this well-regarded switch/“noise moat”.

I used one for a time with good results. I think you are supposed to use one port as “cleaner” than the other. I believe it’s the 100mbs not the 1000mbs port.
It seems like it was a hot running piece so I called the manufacturer and he said that was normal.
I needed more network ports so I bought one of the English 8 switches and sold the ER

Fire sale on the MK1 DACS. I will have one to add to the “for sale” thread soon but it looks like they are losing value quickly.

buy one and put aps transformers in it…one heck of a DAC for the money

Thanks.
After downsizing from 3 houses to one and 3+ systems to one I just need to sell some stuff instead of storing it and trying to remember what and where it is.

I put a cooling fan on my EtherREGEN. Seems worthwhile.
