That’s even better, WAY better
Please Al, adopt me!
Works for me too!
The Rabbit’s Enchanted Kingdom. A wonderful place, far from chaos and traffic, where the royal residence stands, home to the largest audiophile community on the planet. Here time follows the rhythm of music, day and night. Smug middle-aged men wander blissfully through the listening rooms, exchanging polite smiles and opinions on expensive cables and delicious liquors.

I personally like the travel. Particularly to India. It’s an amazing country with fantastic people.
I’ve been studying the science behind jetlag. It’s pretty interesting. I am at the point of having none on the outbound trip. Coming back isn’t as good as I would like. Physically just a day of being tired. Mentally it’s more like four days of more fog then normal.
You seem to have the travel lag thing down. When I was younger I seemed to bounce back better, even after long trips to Asia. Now I go to Europe more, a shorter trip, and I have at least four days of fog on the return. Increasing age seems as much a factor as distance.
I may be able to accommodate that request. PM if interested.
I have the time and age to retire but Insurance, taxes, audio gear, and music purchases will make it difficult to leave.
Transparent Ultra XLR and speaker cable.
Another new addition to the system. Picked up an Innuos PhoenixNet switch from a chap on Canuck Audiomart. While you are supposed to give it about 24 hours for the clock to settle in before judging it, I’m astounded by the difference (for the better) it makes to the system right out of the box. It’s not subtle. It seems nice.
Congrats. Even if second hand it takes a long long time, once you switch it back on, before working at its best. Mundorf caps need almost a few days to warm up properly.
The funny thing is that every 2 or 3 months I intentionally switch the PNET off, because it sounds even better (waiting a few days) after a power ciclle.
It is also sensitive to fuse (are you kidding? No!) and cables, in my experience.
Which server/streamer are you using?
Enjoy your new toy.
Once a while my streaming chain would start sounding dull, and a reboot would bring the life back after a few hours. I thought I was crazy, but apparently this is a “thing” for you too. ![]()
Yes, I’m crazy too! You know!
Thanks Luca. I’m using a Baetis Revolution X4 as my Roon server, with a SOtM usb card that has been tweaked for the Baetis computers. Using a SR Omega usb cable to connect the Baetis and the MKII.
I had a SR Purple fuse ready to go for the Phoenix and installed it before inserting the Phoenix into the system. Using a Shunyata Python PC on the Phoenix, which I may upgrade at some point. With all of the changes I’ve made to the 2 channel system this year, I think I will let it be for a little while.

My latest upgrade was the BACCH plugin for my Dutch&Dutch 8cs. It is by far the best $890 I have spent on my system. I can’t believe my simple system consisting of a Nucleus+, EtherRegen, P20, and two 8cs can sound so good. Of course I have SR Purple fuses in the P20 and 8cs and sufficient power cords for them as well.
Genius in simplicity. I can’t believe I haven’t thought of this. Thank you for sharing.
When I installed the BACCHMac Intro version I had the exact same reaction. Nothing else that I have added to my system has had such a cost effective improvement. I am glad you are enjoying your BACCH plugin.
