AC12 Powercord and P5

I wouldn’t mind trialling a couple of these cords with statements like that!

@elk

Yes really! After some more listening I’m positive. From now on my system makes music!

@David

Just do! My expectations were low with the hope I would hear something, but these cords turned out to be my best investment.

Yes, see why I want one on every component? :smiley:

Yes but why does I have to see it? I can hear what you mean! :wink:

I still can’t understand why a powercord can make such a difference and I’m an electrotechnical engineer.

The powercords I used in de past already were expensive and made with knowledge.

I used Kimbers PK10 gold a few years back bud I didn’t like them!

Than I used several Kemp reference 11 times shealded and sandfilled connectors.

Than I used Oyaide Tunami GPX-Re

All these cords were an upgrade to my previous cords, but the upgrade was never this big.

I think it’s the Ohno wire myself, as well as the differing guage sizes and shapes.

Just a note to add that audioadvisor is selling remaining AC-12 .5 meter cords for 200 dollars, twice what I paid for most of those I have. Grab them if you can, they generally work for powering a component on a PowerBase.

Yes, I would also highly recommend these .5 meter AC-12s from the PB to components. They offer a significant improvement over lesser cords. Of course, AC-12s to the PB are highly recommended as well!

That is a great price from Audio Advisor. I wonder why they are dropping the line.

They are not dropping the line to my knowledge, they are just not able to get more 1/2 meters.

...and they have 3m AC-3 for $99 as well.

Yup! After experimenting with one in different places that's just where it landed!
