Airlens, DAC and Heat

Just received the Airlens and Strata Gold DAC (refurbished).

Is it safe to place the Airlens on top of the DAC? My cabinet does not have a extra shelf for the Airlens. As i was running the DAC all day Saturday, I notice the top of the DAC case was especially warm to the touch.

I have cabinet shelf that holds the Strata Phono Pre-Amplifier does have enough space that I could place the Airlens on top of it. Not sure if the Airlens will cause any interference with the phono pre-amp.

PS Audio told me a few weeks ago that it would be ok to place my Airlens on top of my DS2…

Yup. The airlens is totally fine to go on top of the DAC. It’s how we run our test airlens in the office.
