I have a lot of CDs that are pretty much unlistenable without equalization of some sort. Mostly, by varying degrees, they are too bass shy and over balanced towards the highs. I can save many with my Loki Max. Also, if I choose to enjoy the liquidity that my Freya can give me with its tube stage I find it can be much too warm in the bass for my taste. I can tune that out with the Loki to my liking. Best of all the Loki imposes almost no damage to transparency in use IMO. I’ve found other uses for it as well but I won’t bore you with those. I try to use it only when necessary. Many times small adjustments is all that’s required.

LPs: by decades then alphabetically by arist
CDs: by genre then in no particular order by artist

Agreed. I even get Friday the 13th every seven or so years. No one sent me a pre amp this year, but it was still a good day. Lol. Im blessed with the best grand kids in the world…june is a good month for me.
