Any chance the “Bridge III” will have an optical network input in addition to the RJ45 network input? Thinking of putting an optical link in my network and would be good to know if I should wait to make sure I use a compatible connection.
Too early to say. My guess is we’ll stick with wireless and RJ45 but I wouldn’t write optical off as a possibility.

Make it better than the Matrix Element X 
on the software front, different sound profiles would be good (beyond the filter options). And give it some pre-amp capability - like RCA in so that it can be the front channels for a HT setup.
