Anybody using any version of Hypex Ncore NC1200 monos paired with DMP/DS?

Just curious since I’ve been recently considering the Atsah monoblocks from Acoustic Imagery as a pairing with my new Directstream source gear.

Particularly, I’m curious to know about any potential gain matching problems between the DS and these class D amps when fed directly (sans preamp) so as to avoid noise floor issues and any need for attenution from the DAC.

You’ll be fine with the that setup. No issue at all.

Thanks. On paper they look like a good pairing but I doubt if I’ll get a chance to try before I buy, certainly not if I buy used.
