Dirk has had more problems with PS Audio kit then anyone on planet earth…
I agree; it is very simple to measure voltage potential between neutral and ground. It is highly unlikely you screwed up.
This is why I asked what you are getting coming out of the wall.
0 volts as it should be unless there is home wiring issues.
Sorry. I did not see where you asked me that.
Wow. That’s not good
Given your power does not have this issue, and the other problems you had with your P20, i suspect you received a unit with a problem.
Not a standard experience, I would say…
Maybe however I have my doubts as to who ever engineered this with no way to calibrate the meters is beyond me. What else has been overlooked?
I have 3x P20’s and 2x P12’s and never had a single issue of any kind including voltage gremlins so I guess no complaints from me.
I am sure that a very large percentage have no trouble at all hence no reason to look for a place to complain publicly.
I’m happy for you. Glad you are enjoying it.
Well the RF and EMF and noise coming off the Video display is easily corrected with 3m AB7050F. Plus you need a 3 K power cord to make a P-20 sound remarkably better. I liked mine a. Lot more after tweaks.
I guess that would have fixed all the issues I had. Thanks
Me too.
Anytime you get a couple hundred OCD enthusiasts together (virtually) there are going to be puffed chest discussions but all in the vein of advancing the quality of the experience.
Didn’t help mine
Throwing shade on the product like this is meaningless and mere posturing.
You have enough problems it appears you unfortunately received a bad unit. Unfortunate, but it happens to every manufacturer.
I agree. I didn’t bring this back up. I just wanted to let it rest. However I won’t ignore plain out false remarks.
I will post the actual measurements soon.
I’ll post them here and on the other forum. Thanks for everyone’s feedback.
I wonder if there were no meters, how your P20 would have sounded to you?
@RonP you crack me up—in a good way!
Are you saying the amp buzz and voltage issue has to do with the meters?
Besides the fact that a less expensive solution sounds much better.
