I am really interested in a pair of FR10’s, BUT are the M700 amps good enough… I would love nothing better than get the M1200’s but cannot do both in this lifetime
leap frogs…seems a good match. getting 1200s leads to FR20s, and so on
No one else will be able answer your question but you. The “problem” with speakers of very high quality is that they’re going to make you realize you can always do better with every system upgrade you’ll make downstream. It’s not just amplifiers that will matter, it’s going to be everything; cables, power conditioning, source components, vibration control, etc., etc. I bought a pair of Tidal Piano Cera speakers a decade ago and I’m still finding previously unsuspected performance capabilities with every upgrade. I’ll unlikely be able to afford new Tidal tier components for them but that sure hasn’t impeded my enjoyment of them so far. Buying the best speakers you can afford and evolving the rest of the system to their level is probably cheaper in the long run than the alternatives.
Great advice.
