Did you get it from my dealer ?

I tried AQ Niagara 5000 and Tornado,Thunder and Hurricane power cords maybe a year ago. Niagara 5000 was so far the best “conditioner” I´ve heard but still not my cup of tea.

And while Hurricane was easily the best of the bunch,I felt no desire to own any of them. BAV power cords for me in my setup are far better to me. And many others but I leave it there. But this Dragon hdmi is a keeper, sure!

Yes. The Euro version is shorter for some reason. I got mine from buddy who bought them from my salesman at TMR! He gives the best prices on the Dragon and all Audioquest prices!

I’m only three songs in and it’s sounds better and much more detailed than the RAL to my hears! If the Dragon 48 gets better after 200 hours look out!

Sorry, my question was directed to @Somppsa.

I thought so. My apologies.

I did contact them and while I was at it I asked local dealer too if they could get it…and it was better to sponsor local boutigue :relaxed:

@Somppsa did get his Dragon from a dealer in Europe. For some reason I don’t why if you look at the AQ Euro price list the shortest Dragon 48 is .6m. In the US Price list it’s .75m

Maybe it’s the metric system!

That is fun how different systems respond to cable changes. Mine started out bad,got really good after two days and then not so good for a couple of days. Now it´s settling nicely and getting slowly better everyday.

It’s pretty darn good out of the box!

AQ just answered my question

Is there a difference in right/left channel with FIRE XLR cables? I ever thought no color differences matter at all.

No, none at all, other than the color of the writing on the plugs.

No there is no difference in the cable. The color code is to make sure the cable is going in the right connection. AQ is correct

Then I’ll try to re-swap the cables back again (as already done) to be sure. Maybe there was some issue plugging in connectors, just a little click or imperceptible millimeters contact I didn’t notice even if I use furutech booster signal under connectors, specially to firmly support them.

Are using a PS Audio direct stream?

PST to DS DAC sr to BHK Preamp. SPP for analogue. 2 powerplants P12 to feed M1200s monoblocks. Just a little bit PS Audio dependent?

Sounds similar to my set up tho your cable is on higher level than mine! I wondering if you accidentally have the Dac out of phase causing your issue?

Tried phase in and phase out on DAC, nothing. I fixed my issue swapping XLR cables yesterday. After that all turned in the right way. Fire interconnects cables together with Dragon source power cord to feed the BHK preamp are able now to bring my system to a new level. Finally I can enjoy this new improvement, even if not so big as Dragon power cord HC to P12 powerplants.
