Your experience gives me a solid lead to my HiFi heaven. I need another Dragon pc for my BHK pre and an interconnect from the new AQ toplines that suppose coming out soon.
But wait, I still need to upgrade my DS to the new streamer and DS MK2. That means another Dragon HDMI, plus one more pc?

oh, the HiFi upgrade high! I know the feeling. you better treat your wife nice. My Dragon cost is extremely high because it includes a vacation to Hawaii with my wife. So good luck 
I found out after my first marriage. Keep separate financial accounts. That takes money off the table as anything to argue over.
Me too, just bought the Dragon cable (for me) with extra fee for a brand new pair of boots (for my wife) and extra tax for a brand new LesPaul guitar (for my rocker son). Fixed any family complaint.
How can I explain now to my bank?

Big news just received from Alasdair of AQ:
There will be some new models of analog audio interconnect cables early next year. There will be a few models to replace the current top three or four models.
So this completely changes my plans for cable upgrades, first Dragon pc to DS DAC and other components. Awaiting for XLR upgrade until new models launch. If Garth designs an IC new product as good as Dragon (both HDMI and PC) I’m so anxious to test it.
I have no doubt there will be Thunderbird, Firebird, and Dragon interconnects and USB offerings in the near future!
Day 2 for me (31 hours) and the Dragon 48! It lives up to the hype! Great cable details, details, and more detail. Yesterday and somewhat today there is a little brightness in higher frequencies that others reported early in the burn in process but overall I’d say the upgrade is on par with upgrading to a really good power cable on the regenerator!
Give it more time, be confident. Me too noticed an excess of edge/razor/brightness during first 3 days that made appreciate Dragon HDMI at 90%. A few members here told me to be patient. They were right. After no more than one week all went in a different direction: highs became less edged, details evolved in a general better balanced feeling, strength and relax became more amalgamated and not opposites giving the pleasant impression that all is at its own right place. Keep calm and enjoy listening, one more day or two. Let us know…
