Your assumption is correct! I don’t have a photo, but adifferentpaul in post 121 shows half of the Jay’s on the bottom shelf of the rack (at least that is the Jay’s that Al pointed out).

That was the guy who had the green 5 gallon bucket of dirt for grounding! I have his business card.

Jeremy did some magic setting up both the MBL rooms. They sounded great! I agree the best sounding rooms at the show. The Forza imo was the better sounding speaker at the show!

Maybe a black pair of Martin Logan CLX’s with a Gryphon class A front end! Lol

I did not make time to hear the Forza, missed opportunity.

Probably for the best. They sound wonderful and they cost less than $165K.

That was Jamie’s room from Audio Experience of Vernon Hill’s. Jamie is a good guy. I know he said he would of rather had the MSB amps on the Forza’s but the new Krell amp sounded very good with the Forza’s.

Yes. Luxman/Magico was ok, but I did not walk away thinking I need them, like I did with Alta, Magnepan and mbl.

Maybe it was the Audioquest Mythical Creature cables that weren’t burned in yet on the Magico’s! Lol

I imagine if that’s true as a show presenter it would have to hurt. A bit of piss poor planning like that would screw up the entire weekend.

The Magico’s in that Room are $185,000 a pair! Estelon Forza $159k winner Forza! imo

Magnepan LRS+ $995/pair :grinning:

I hoped they were burned in. When I talked to the Auralic rep I asked if he preferred the sound with Audioquest cables which sounded good in that room he said they call AQ make a request for cables and they use whatever is sent.

Yes indeed, I screwed up not going in the room. I’ve done business with F1 Audio (AKA Audio Experience) in the past. My den system was purchased from Jaime just prior to COVID hitting. Best move I made as it was intended to be used strictly for streaming to explore new titles of interest. The early stages of the pandemic with my self induced isolation provided ample opportunity to use the system, and add to my music collection.

Goebel speakers are physically big, sound big, and have a luxurious surface. I’ve added some close-ups of i-robot, otherwise from a company called Malbork
