Thanks for sharing! Very interesting to see the AirLens sitting on top of the BHK Pre. Looks good! If that’s ok for PS Audio to demo the AirLens then perhaps it could sit on top of the BHK or DS2 at home then…

I don’t know, I got a quick listen to the FR20 at the end of the day but didn’t think to look for one in the stack. They did have a Qobuz plaque so maybe they were using one, unless they brought their Innuous …. I will try to check tomorrow.
Herb Reichert (God love him) got into an argument of sorts with Galen right after he was done. The poor old fellow really didn’t understand what Galen was trying to teach people. But I don’t blame him. Most audiophiles (and that includes reviewers) don’t know squat about actual science. It was kind of funny to listen to the two of them.

I was half listening to it, but didn’t realize who the other party, Herb, was until later when talking to Galen. My take was they were each coming from different places.

A company called PS Audio was there. Did not get a chance to speak with the real Paul, but did speak with Paul’s wife, and also Scott McGowan and had a nice conversation with Chris Brunhaver. The FR20 and FR30’s look and sound really good. While room acoustics are tough with bass on the first floor rooms, the clean ribbon midrange and ribbon tweeters sounded really nice.

The Infigo/Alta Audio combination was REALLY wonderful, yet again. Infigo had their $50k Class A monoblocks on display again, but also brought a new $20k Class A stereo amp that was intoxicating with Alta speakers.
