Axpona was expansive and a little disappointing of what I heard in a lot of rooms except for the Bacch (Theoretica Applied Physics) demonstration. Did anyone else venture into this room? Honestly, I was blown away of what I heard. One of the biggest improvements in play back of recorded sound I have ever heard. Any other opinions? I am seriously considering a purchase in the new future. Please talk me down off the ledge.

You will only find people pushing you towards that ledge here on this forum. I will say this is the first place I read about it, and all of a sudden its exploding. once my room is built I have to decide do I upgrade my streamer or get a BACCH for Mac and stream via that. I think I know what others would say.

Been using Bacch4mac 1.25 years. I never listen to 2 channel without the XTC cancellation. If the ORC is an extra now you might delay that if you have a available room acoustics DSP solution. If not it is a cheap an easy implementation. It ORC is a great tool to fix Room Accoustic issue passively. The active component and XTC gets better as you improve passive acoustics. The mini is easy to tweak with better USB cables and a separate LPS module.
Its like all audio you’re still never done.

don’t do it… you have to convert your angelic pure analog vinyl into satanic digital signal and that’s just the beginning, the signal will have to undergo further mutation into it’s final abomination form with XTC and ORC, yes like Lords of the Rings Orc.
