while they definitely carried their own sonic signature (as all amps do) and sounded absolutely stunning and beautiful on their own, I can’t say they added much “heft,” having more current reserves and running more biased in the Class A side of things. But, I’ll write another article on these amps in an upcoming review, so stay tuned there.
I was favored with an audition of the speakers a couple months ago with a tube amp. I found that they produced an impressive wall of sound but lacked much attention beyond the primary performer.
