I have had the Cardas binding posts on two separate sets of speakers and now on my mono blocks, and without question, they are the best that I have used.Once tightened, the cables stay extremely secure.
Did your BHK come with 4 angle corner guards secured with two plastic straps? Mind did but unfortunately one channel did not work. I don’t think package had anything to do with it not working. When I sent it back I taped the corner guards on the bottom. No one had strapping machine that I know.

The output terminals are inconveniently placed too close to each other and aligned horizontally (instead of vertically) , so the thick non-flexible loudspeaker cables have to go up first instead of directly to the side ...
My thoughts exactly when I first saw the pics of the amp. It was a "what were they thinking moment" but will reserve judgement until I can see one for real.

No, there were neither guards nor plastic straps, nor any sticky tape. The top part could be easily slid upwards. Should the guards be applied between the inner and the outer boxes?
The guards (two top and two bottom running the length of the box) and straps held the outer brown box on. I wondered about it when I didn’t see them in your photos.
My guards were on the outside of entire package. Once straps and guards were off, the top box could come off as it had no bottom. When I sent amp back I taped top box to bottom of inside box and then taped guards to bottom edge of box to protect and help hold top box on. The box was delivered on last Friday. I assume it was ok.
@Dave: from the picture I see that your house is heated by electricity! The first high-end system that I ever heard involved a D-250 and a pair of Maggie Tympanis back in the early 80’s. I would say that I almost lost my mind but that would be inaccurate. The “almost” part, that is. I’ve never been the same since.
Something that made a huge difference for the better was switching absolute phase! I just tried this last night as I had been thru the absolute phase selection some time ago with the DS DAC. I had discovered that the DS DAC sounded better (in my set up) with the phase setting (more appropriately called absolute phase) IN as apposed to the PWD II which sounded better with the phase set to OUT. This is likely because there are a different number of gain stages in the BHK compared to my EDGE.
I’d highly recommend anyone one testing this in there set up to see which sounds more right.

@woot, does your Pass preamp also have a phase switch? Just curious if you’ve also got that set to IN as well along with the DS…

Yes the rest of the house gets cold trying to stay comfortable during long listening sessions when the wife is gone. Hope the BHK does better, but there will be two as mono's.

BHK here: The number of stages in the BHK amps is irrelevant if it is known that the overall polarity of a device is inverting or not. The BHK Signature 250/300 amps are non-inverting for both balanced and unbalanced inputs.
Preamps can certainly invert. My old c-j Premier 17LS, now in my second system, does. It uses 6922s too. Nothing else in that system inverts so I have to remember to reverse the speaker connections. It’s nice that the DS has a phase switch.
