The best tubes I ever got for my EAR G-88 were from him. A great service.
I’ve always just called him which he prefers. He is probably the best bet for getting NOS tubes for the BHK preamp with close gain matched triodes.

My tubes, extender and converter are all supposed to arrive tomorrow. Haven’t thought about how to set jumper, but Will keep them on the 6V with the adapter

quite the set up. Tube depot delivery came today for the converters and Savers-should they be flush or is there a slight gap once the two are attached? hoping my tubes arrive today. Pretty anxious to try this out. Also have a set of 6922 telefunkens coming
I will stick with the Gold Lion 12AU7’s I am not looking for a colored sound from my system. I also Like the Conn 12AU7’s and would like the Tungsrams 6DJ8’s if they were not so noisy! Maybe some of the tubey sound people are getting from those large tubes is due to microphonics!
agree with you on the tangram-sound really good in my system, but man are they noisy-sounds like I am at a movie theater lobby every time I dial in the volume control.
