Grateful Dead has either gotten me into the music I listen to today or wouldn’t have been if it wasn’t for what they did. Jerry got me into bluegrass with Old & In the Way and The Pizza Tapes with David Grisman and Tony Rice. I have been to every show Furthur has played at Red Rocks since maybe 2012 traveling from Illinois. Was there for Tedeschi Trucks Band w/ B.B. King and was back a few weeks later. Grateful Dead also got me into tape/cd trading and needing to get rides to the post office and checking the mailbox since maybe 14 years old now 38.

Bob, thank you for the music and the memories. Your songs brought people together and made us feel free. You showed us how to listen, share, and enjoy the moment. Rest in peace, Bob Weir. The music lives on.
