Bridge II released!

Bridge II is finally ready for release and available for sale as of this writing. You can buy it online if you’re in the States, through your dealer distributor if outside the US.

It’s really killer, does gapless nicely, works great with my favorite control app from MConnect. There is an Android version as well which you can get here. It works quite well with Bridge II and I think you’ll find these apps to be easy to use and connect.

Sound quality on Bridge II is just awesome and my new favorite. Have fun and let us know what you think when you fire it up.

I can second Paul’s feeling about the goodness of Bridge II. In my system it has overtaken the PWT (still great of course) as the best source into my DS.

Yippy!

I continue to be amazed that Bridge II sounds better than the PWT, an significant accomplishment.

Hi Paul, is the buy back option available worldwide and how would that work? I’m a Bridge I user in Hong Kong and am eager to upgrade to the Bridge II.

Hooray!!! I placed my order…Can’t waithappy-132_gif Without going back to another thread, I think I read that they will start shipping Mid-August?? Anyone know the ETA?

This am Paul said will be shipping next week.

Tks again, alberto

Each country is different and it's up to the distributors. I'll have our guys get with Radar and ask.

No, it is not, but then it doesn’t need to be.

If the server/how-is-ted-coding-the-fpgaroller program you select supports it, the Bridge should as well.

For SQ, how does the Bridge 2 compare to Bryston BDP?

Hi Paul,

I’m in Australia, could you please ask the dealer Magenta the Bridge II trade in program? Though we are far from the rest of the world, we’d love to share the buy in deal with all other DS Dac lovers 105_gif

Does it support Cat7 cabling ? (Not for data through put / bandwidth; I understood that Cat7 was electrically “quieter”)

Couldn't be happier with reports that Bridge II sounds better than PWT (which I have come to adore (as much as I do any inanimate object))

Couldn’t be happier with reports that Bridge supports Tidal.

I placed my “order” in May & part-paid (the Bridge I equivalent portion) at the same time.

I already emailed my dealer (maybe 1.5 days ago), who has already confirmed they’re waiting on details from distributor.

May I say, I really respect & admire this aspect of the way PS Audio is run. There must be 1000++++ orders ready to drop on this product. Just multiply those figures out a few times.

And PS Audio still insists the product needs to be right, & would not rush it (defined as sub-par; I’m perfectly fine with field upgrade able aspects being issued as subsequent improvements).

Thanks Paul.

Yes, just use the standard RJ45 connector. CAT-7 is more noise resistant, primarily because of the shielding of its twisted pairs in addition to overall shielding.

Remember when evaluating SQ of Bridge 2 that it definitively needs a good 300-400 hours of burn in to really bloom, I found the sound better than Bridge 1 on first install but was pleasantly surprised that I kept getting significant upgrades in sound over the break in period.

Presents are coming you just have to wait patiently :)
