Hi all,
I am about to (try) to change tubes in back. The manual says that the cage needs to be re-installed after installing tubes.
What will (or wont) happen if I don’t put it back ?

If nothing else it will keep small critters from getting in the amp and chewing on wires.

These are for safety reasons (also contained in regulations). They’re hot when operating. You’re exposing the open electrical parts. Other creatures, like critters, children, too curious folk…
You never know up front, so better be safe than sorry.
