When I purchased my Genesis V speakers the Avalon Ascent were the runners up. Sounded best with Spectral electronics and Transparent wire. The Genesis V really hit the spot with a conrad-johnson Premier 11 driving them, which is where I landed. My primary system for 20 plus years.
