ChatGPT speaker cable recommendations

But but I haven’t done any tube rolling yet  Thanks for the suggestion though!

Interesting. I agree other types of cables including power cords make more difference than speaker cables in my system. But SC sound differences are quite noticeable too.

I don’t chatgpt so I was hoping you would add Stealth to your search just to see how it does.

I plan to never ever use chatgpt myself. Ever. For any reason. But you use it so…..

I just did it. The answer was simple and strange. It read: "See “Sleeper, Woody Allen 1973, Orgasmatron”.

I’ll read that as AL as in aangen not AI as in Artificial Intelligence, the latter an oxymoron if ever. The former a cause of financial drain.

I would replace the BHK with a Pass line stage well before I spent money on a cable upgrade.

Starting with the the XP-22, you will not be disappointed.

That may be true but I do love the sound of the BHK preamp paired with the Passlabs amps. Hence upgrades to the cables when I can afford them.

I prefer to call it “ai”, which doesn’t get confused with a lower cased L looking like an upper case letter after H.

I like that approach for both readability sake as well as implying that artificial intelligence doesn’t deserve capital letters like people do!

When I want the facts I look for Chat-AL.

I reach for a book.

I just buy whatever costs the most. A half hour ago I tried a $9500 mattress. It was heavenly. Not going to buy it though. That is 3/4 the cost of a decent power cable.

In that case I have some lamp cord that you can barely afford, PM me!

At this point I need another set of ears to evaluate my setup. Anyone in the Madison WI area are welcome to stop by.

Or strongly consider the advice from @weedeewop (new preamp).
Ultimately, I think that would be the best decision.
I know that better speaker cables would help me (and better power cables too), but is more of a fine-tuning situation with the main components already set.

I love the BHK!

I asked ChatGPT regarding power cables to connect to the MU2, just for fun. I specifically asked about Audience Front Row Reserve, Stealth Dream 20-20 and Stealth CGLE. One comment that stuck with me was that Chat said with any of the power cables mentioned, after purchasing, I would think the thought “why I didn’t upgrade sooner”.
ChatGPT then went on to recommend the Stealth Dream 20-20 for the MU2 with the Levinson 523 preamp connected in the system, and recommended connecting Front Row Reserve to the MU2 with the CJ GAT-S2 preamp in the system.

Interesting. I’m not familiar with either the power cords or the components other than from impressions and discussions on the PS Audio forums.

Based on your own experiences does it seem that the ChatGPT is going for a “more of the same” approach or is it selecting power cords that are dissimilar from the components in the sense that their dissimilarities would complement each other?

The mindset does appear to be an attempt to enhance the positive aspects and to balance out the negatives, so as to not go too far in one direction. Whether correct or incorrect, it is interesting to not only see the recommendation, but also the reasoning, or logic, both good and bad, as to why it says one might be better than the other for the differing scenarios.
It does not just give a blanket recommendation without explanation, which is useless.

It might be that ChatGPT answers are informed by evermore data. As I play around with it, I have asked the same questions, worded precisely and it’s responses have flipped 180 re. power cords into my amps vs my preamps and DAC. And it’s answers include a good bit of engineering examples.
