I routinely clean my OPPO players with a high quality laser cleaner disk. Usually the results lead to better performance. The disk I use requires visual to press a couple of commands to complete the cleaning.
Does PS Audio recommend a similar internal cleaning for dust etc. and if so how?

What’s a “high quality laser cleaner disc”? One of those CDs with brushes on it? Sorry - haven’t kept up on that tech.
I’d guess they would recommend you clean the discs you put into the DMP so as not to introduce stuff that has to be cleaned later. Since it’s the same drive as the Oppos, if doing what you do now works for you, perhaps continue doing that. Though I can’t speak for PS Audio, who may not recommend it.
