I have an old PS Audio 4.5 Preamp, but the controls were bad and totally removed. It’s now set up to have the phono preamp on all the time. (A knowledgeable friend did all this surgery.) I have an opportunity to acquire a 4.6 Preamp that’s missing a power supply. Will the 4.5 power supply exactly work with the 4.6 model??
I thought this would be an easy answer for the PS Audio experts to answer. But no one who’s read it knows the answer. Should I assume that these forums aren’t monitored daily? Maybe it’s weekly? (But by then it will be too late as I have to make a purchase decision tonight.)
