Everybody is going to be effected by this. We have tickets booked for Texas with the family but that is after the ban of 30 days, whether the situation has improved or worsened we just do not know. Whether we can reschedule or lost our money, we also do not know.
But compared to the grief of people dying from this nasty virus, all these issues are nothing and I hope that everybody realizes that it is not about us becoming ill, but about us spreading the virus and that we must take appropriate action to avoid others dying from it.
Off course EU leadership condemned the fact that the travel ban to the US was taken unilateral, what do they expect?
Negotiations till everybody becomes infected?
Denmark has taken serious measures, Italy and other countries.
But in The Netherlands they have no capacity to perform even tests on house members of infected family members, as they say no need to test, we assume that they are infected. Yet they publish only tested figures so the real numbers will be multitudes of the numbers.
But based on the numbers the National Health Association RIVM has advised not to shake hands anymore, yes serious measures! Delicate detail is, at the end of that press release our prime minister shook hand with the director of our national health association. I donât condemn it as it is a old and good habit over here, but is shows how helpless and undecided our government really is.
Consequently we get banned from visiting other countries. It does not surprise me.
Ostrich politics. We donât test => we have low figures => there is no problem!
We stick our head in the sand, wait till the storm has blown over and move on, or not.
Dutch government press release in an hour or so. Letâs see.
There are substantial risks eating any critter, be it West approved chicken, cows, fish, pigs, etc. including salmonella, trichinosis, vibrio vulnificus, parasites, and more.
Yes we feed them with food they in natural environment donât eat, they become ill, then we inject them with so much antibiotics that those who eat a lot of that cheap meat are becoming immune to those medications and die because there is no cure anymore. I do eat meat a lot, but this whole situation is a major wake up call for me.
My comment is equally applicable to wild caught/hunted critters: fish and other seafood, deer, ducks and other birds, etc. Eating any critter involves risk, no matter your critter of choice.
Agreed. We just know for sure that some are more dangerous to humans than others. At least on the shorter term. Long term effects from production line raised food animals remains to be seen.
I have an unopened 24 pack of two-ply toilet paper and 6 family-size hand sanitizer.
Will trade for BHK 300âs.
Please note, BHKâs should still have warranty left.
Prefer silver.
Thanks
No. We are merely more comfortable with those critters which are consumed in the West. Salmonella, commonly found in chicken and fish, can be fatal for the the young and the old, as well as cause dangerous dehydration in everyone. This is merely one example.
We just get squeamish when contemplating eating something we have not grown up with.
On the other hand, the intestines, ovaries and liver of blowfish contains a deadly poison. This critter is far more dangerous to humans than eating a mouse, for example.
it is good enough that will be infected about 60000 in the first wave -
about 10 percent of those infected will spread about this, see fig numbers (58,000)
