I see that the numbers in China aren’t going up very fast anymore. Do you suppose it has run it’s course there or they are just not reporting?
Looking at our dance/opera/music diary for the next three weeks, I’m starting to despair. Will any survive? 2 operas, 5 ballet, 4 concerts and a bar mitzvah. I’m prepared to give one of them up.

It has leveled off in China. Their biggest concern now is for people entering China and bringing more cases of the viruses into China. I heard there is a 2-week quarantine period for anyone entering China
The difference is there’s next to no virus in Cambodia. 19 cases so far, mostly in Phnom Penh. Can’t say that for Italy.
Just wondering about all the figures mentioned. Who knows how many people walk around with the virus, not feeling ill, being a source of infection.

It seems to have worked, but China’s approach was remarkably draconian. It will be interesting to watch whether other countries will be as aggressive. Perhaps they will as China appears to have succeeded.
I’m sorry, but I just don’t trust them to be telling the truth. And there is absolutely no oversight.

Without question, China heavy handed their approach. Seems to be working, but yes, what hardships we can only imagine.
Here in the States we haven’t any such means to be heavy handed as we’re more a mosaic or patchwork quilt akin to herding cats. Time will tell if our gentler approach will be as effective.
Total bummer. I was so looking forward to the new season. Now the question is how many more will be canceled.
