I was very interested in a PSAudio streamer. In the last two weeks I have left two voicemails (forced to vm when calling), and an email with no response. SMH!
That is unfortunate! I know that @jamesh is always ready to assist if he is in office. You were smart to post here as a lot of PS Audio staff watch these forums and jump in when needed.

Service@psaudio.com. I am very aware that volume control for the coax digital output instead of downstream at the analog loses some bits. Forgetting that potential negative consequence; I am trying to determine if the PS Audio Air lens Streamer has volume control at the digital output.
I believe you would control the volume with whichever app you are using.
Thanks for letting me know. An up to date AirLens, connected to one of our DACs via I2S can pass along volume control commands that control only the DAC when you use the volume setting in Roon. In other words, done this way, the DAC handles the volume, not a change in digital bits in the streamer.

This setup has a DBX Venue 360 as the DAC and DSP then going to hybrid electrostatics and subwoofers (six channel). So, an analog preamp isn’t simple for volume control. Therefore, one way or another I need volume control from the digital output of the streamer.
