What are the sound changes that I should be hearing with the difference filter settings in the SG DAC?
I’ve flipped through them and don’t notice what’s difference.
I have an Astell&Kern music player that has that ability also, and I don’t hear it there either.
If the SG is an ESS based DAC then you will be hard pressed to hear any difference in the filter settings.
It’s a blessing not a curse. Worry about something else.
Not really “worried”. If they build this feature into a DAC, it should be something I can hear. Does one smooth out the higs, soften or sharpen the sound, etc…
Just thought someone could point out the audible effects of these filters.
