Can you imagine listening to recordings made with those microphones? People find it “cool” to hear a chair squeak, a cough in the audience, traffic outside the auditorium, even a subway underground. But a glass breaking on the floor a couple of blocks away? The possibilities are mind boggling!
Certainly a worthy cause and an exceptional effort to accomplish it. Hard to imagine that many Italians being quiet for that long!
