I recently saw a video review of the refurbished DirectStream Mk1. However, a used Stellar DAC is in the same price range. How does the DS Mk1 compare to the Stellar (non-gold) DAC?

How is the sound of the DS Mk1 an upgrade over the Stellar? I haven’t seen much (anything) in terms Stellar reviews. Any Stellar reviews have been for the Gold, which from the specs seems much different than the non-Gold version that I asked about. Can you elaborate?
Not sure about Stellar DAC reviews, but there are quite a few reviews of the DS Mk1 on the internet. One of them being in “Stereophile”.magazine.
I have had both and to my ears the DS Mk1 is an improvement over the Stellar DAC.
