Congratulations!
Congrats! Now if I would only get my copy of that other mag so I can at least read one review!
Great news Paul! I can’t wait to get my copy!
I got my digital copy today… it’s a very good review almost a rave… He did speak on burn in feeling it was all there after 2 months not sure if he ran it constantly for all that time but that equates to 1400 hours. He also mentions that it was a bit bright when new… no surprise there. Also there was no discussion of firmware versions or sonic difference due to firmware changes.
Congratulations guys! That’s awesome! I can’t wait to get my copy!

One question if I may;
Did Stereophile produce any technical measurements of the DS and did they highlight any concerns in this respect?
BTW, I am not able to locate the September issue for download.

I’m old fashioned. I still wait for the paper copy of these mags.

Although now you will get a better price, assuming you have not sold it yet.

And the quoted short version of the verdict is… ?
I am more than willing to pay for it, but it is frustrating that it cannot be downloaded during release. I am not a patient guy, needless to say!

Congratulations Ted, Paul, and all of PS Audio! Pretty neat to have people far and wide acknowledge and praise your hard work.

I got my Stereophile today and Dudley gives the DS a good review… I won’t say a screaming rave but a good, fair, insightful review. He found aspects he liked and some that he didn’t… But overall I’d say he really nailed the way it sounds… And from a hard core analog guy it’s good stuff.
JA’s measurements, some parts good, some not so good…
Overall I’d say the TAS review was a bit closer to a rave…
Regarding JA’s measurements: does he go to the “can’t give an unqualified recomendation” like he does when something doesn’t measure well?
I am certain he has not concluded “truly dreadful measured performance” as he did in the June review of the Lector Strumenti Audio DigitubeS-192.
Art Dudley loved the sound of the Lector.
