Does your soundstage flatten out at low listening levels?

I’m curious about your experiences.
Mine used to, but with a recent change, the soundstage stays deep and distinct even at late-night levels.

I think this sort of thing is largely setup dependent. I don’t tend to listen loudly, so I’ve tweaked my system to sound best at low to medium listening levels.

Similarly, I’ve heard Harbeths absolutely excel at low to medium levels but become congested once you push them hard.

What was the recent change?

I’m talking about very low late night levels.
My most effective change in this regard was my speaker cables. Quite dramatic.

Please tell us more about your speaker cables.

See Iconoclast topic. OFE version. I was using ZU Audio “Event Mk2”, which I always liked. The Iconoclast are a step change better.
