I have downloaded DSD files from the internet to my windows computer and have used software if the website requires software to download music from them, otherwise the files download to my computer are directly from the internet.
To transfer the files to a usb flash drive, I will “extract” the zip file on the computer first using windows explorer, then copy the unzipped (extracted) music files to the usb flash drive through windows explorer.
I just did as advised. Took some fooling around with the Eversolo. Had to transfer files to the library on it. It’s playing and the MKll is showing DSD256 but there is a background hiss/static. Right now it’s something you don’t want to listen to.
Are those Caladan speakers?
After listening to the whole file, it has more dimension and depth to the music but there’s that background hiss constantly and between songs you can hear a slight pulsating to it.
Interesting, I did not encounter this issue. Maybe someone here can advise.
Those are the ABX/LDA baffles my Discord community and Terry at La Dolce Audio designed over the last 3 years. We featured the most current design of them at Pacific Audio Fest this year to a great reception. They are DIY and can be constructed for around $1,700. They punch VERY high into the open baffle world… The only open baffles I have heard that I would really jump to from these is the Pure Audio Project Quintet 15 I heard a few weeks ago! Those are stunning.
I am glad to see you getting closer to getting your DSD files through!! It is well worth the work IMHO…
