DS DAC Mk1: Album Art display

Currently: NAS->AirLens->DS DAC Mk1 (Sunlight)
SD card (FAT32), MConnect (tablet/phone/PC)
folder.jpg in all album folders.

The album art has never displayed. Is there a fix?
Not that it’s strictly necessary, all art displays on MConnect (and even with the NAS app), but it would be nice to have.

Have you used SD Card Formatter? I was having trouble until I used it but even now sometimes album art is slow to appear on album changes and will sometime only appear after playing a whole track. I have also had times where art will stop appearing but a full reboot (power switch on back of DAC) will fix.

Yes, I reformatted the SD card in FAT32 with that app. AirLens->(I2S)->DS DAC Mk1. Full power off on both units. No joy.

If anyone with the same combo has success with album art displaying I’d like to hear about it.

So you are using the AirLens as your streamer? The only input on a DS DAC Mk1 that will display album art is the Bridge if you have a Bridge installed. Any streamer connected via coax or toslink or USB or I2S is not going to display album art on the DAC. There isn’t even a place to display it. This is the I2S input:

Yes, the AirLens, as I stated in the original post. So that’s too bad. I’d been under the impression that the display would change to enable the feature. Oh well, c’est la vie.
