I want to get an SACD of the Allman Bro’s “Live at the Fillmore”.
But first, can anyone vouch for it being better than the standard CD, pls?

Here’s one that’s not only is the recording sound as real as it’s gonna get, but it will test how good your tweeters are, especially with the much more resolving and cleaner highs of the MK2. On track 4, it can make your tweeters sound like a mess if it’s not up to it, but if it is up to it, you will hear these high hats and other high frequency instruments in all it’s glory! The bass and piano sounds exceptionally real also! Yes, it’s a DSD256 recording.

I have a lot of music on my streamer including hi res but lately all I have been playing is red book. I have been digging deep into my library and I am hearing things on a lot of recordings I never heard before. It is like suddenly everything is hi res.
