Hi all, while playing with the channel balancing (left-and-right) button on the remote, the screen on my DSD now shows two volume readings. And the same button no longer functions to change the channel balance for my BHK Pre. Did I accidentally press something here?
Those are the left and right volumes. You should see that if you change the balance on the DS (on purpose or by accident.)
I don’t know how you are supposed to choose between the DS and the BHK pre on the remote (I don’t have a BHK preamp.)
Thanks Ted. Yeah, it’s definitely interesting how all of sudden the same button started to work on the DSD while it used to only work on the BHK Pre. At least I now know there is balance adjustment for the DSD as well.
It all depends on which volume you adjusted last. If you adjusted the BHK preamp volume, then the balance button will indicate the balance of the preamp, and vice versa for the DAC.
