DSD files on CD, not SACD

I was looking at a CD to purchase and noticed it said DSD on it. It is not a SACD. Should I interpret this as meaning the DSD files are on the CD? Would I be able to rip these to disk?

Most likely not. What is the CD? Is it a hybrid CD/SACD?

A fair number of CDs were recorded/mastered in DSD. If the disk isn't an SACD its content won't be DSD, but there are a few SACDs that don't say SACD anywhere on the outside! You can perhaps look it up by it's UPC if that's a possibility...

Ted is correct. I inquired with the producer, and it was recorded using DSD. However, there are no DSD files on the disc.
