I am using my Eversolo as a streamer and DAC pumped into my new Stellar Gold preamp, powered by a pair of Buckeye Purifi mono amps. I feel I am not getting the volume that I should, is there a setting on the Eversolo that is throttling my system??
I have an Eversolo DMP A6, and it has a setting for either variable or fixed output levels. I assume the A8 is the same. If it is set to variable, then rotating the dial, or clicking volume up on your phone if using the phone app, should do it.
I’m using my A8 as a streaming DAC and keep the volume at -3dB. Downstream gain is not an issue. If you have DSP turned on maybe the DSP gain is too low? Mine is set at the default -5dB.
