I’ve had a great couple of years on the forum now, and as a little bit of giving back, I offer this Christmas season playlist for folks’ enjoyment. I make no promises, nor apologies, for these tracks. They’re just seasonal songs that appeal to this American boomer. So everyone have a wonderful holiday!
So I’m trying something different - I’ve starting a PS Audio Community Playlist for those interested in adding 1-2 songs to share with others. It is setup so you should be able to add to the list if you are using Qobuz.
I’ve seeded it with a song I use as reference and one @chrisj1948 recently recommend.
Also - Here is the link to copy if for some reason the above link doesn’t open http://open.qobuz.com/playlist/5540321
Great Idea.
Can’t figure out how to find the site/list in Qobuz, though.
Got any suggestions…?
I just added a direct link above - hope this helps
If I click on this link it simply takes me to the internet access portal for Qobuz.
From there I have no idea how to find your playlist.
I am sure it is user error.
I found it. Made a contribution.
Cheers.
Just began listening, thanks Craig. I’ve converted to Tidal for those without Q. I simply copied the url that is the Qobuz playlist and imported it into Soundiiz to convert to Tidal.
Thank-you!
Thank you @brett66
Also. Here are a number of conversions from Qobuz to Tidal in this thread:
Need some advice/info. I have a UK based Qoboz account. Has the US based service begun to offer the same or better music variety than the original? Any reason to change to US based service or any reason not to change to US based service? The small difference in price is not important.
Thanks, Mark.
Thanks @senna1a . I added a couple too!
I don’t work on the playlists with any regularity, and even when I complete one (when the non-classical ones hit 20 tracks I consider them done) I don’t always post anything about them. But they’re all set for public access, so anyone can search at any time for “Craig’s Ear Candy” and see all I’ve got at the moment.
I apologize for the small handful of repeats among the current 13 complete lists. I do this from memory, which can be faulty at times. Frankly I’m surprised I haven’t repeated more.
Listening and and enjoying the Classical Ear Candy 01. Thanks again.
After “subscribing” to a playlist on Qobuz from others (thank you), I can’t seem to find them when I’m using remote Audirvana. I can find them using the windows browser interface, though. Can anyone using Audirvana tell me where to find lists I’m sent from others?
Thanks to you for making these playlists available to others!
I was looking for the @ronaldwanders playlists on Qobuz today but to my great regret they don’t seem to be there anymore 🥲. So now I am sitting in front of a great but silent stereo system because I have nothing to listen to… My hope is that they are out for some re-linking maintenance maybe and will be back soon.
I’m not able to get to his either (they may be either hidden or private at the moment).
Try my links (see my July 2020 post as reference) and see if you can get to them.
I no longer see them either. Perhaps he is no longer a subscriber?
They do show up in Tidal however. I may have only saved them there.
Ronald’s last post on this forum is from Nov 28, 2020. Hope he’s OK. You worry in these Covid times.
Anybody have a fail proof way to search for multichannel recordings? Seems like it should be easy to execute and a selling point for the service.
I came across a few said they were multichannel but never bothered trying to sort out and try to bypass the DS two channel feed and try a matrix digital feed to my HT processor. Probably worth a shot if you know any titles or break the code. My system does really well with HD-DTS DVDs.
