Foundry F12 impressions

Thank you, all!

Hello Folks:
I tried some Vini Vici Part of a Dream. I was able to stretch the legs of the new Foundry F12’s and dust the furniture at the same time. This track goes on for over an hour!

Yes, you can get a y-splitter can connect a subwoofer that way. The input impedance of each is high enough that it won’t cause any significantly loading on the preamp.

Adding subs is a rather modular affair. You can get great results with one and start there and add to your system later with an additional sub for more performance. The one thing to be aware of is that we offer a $500 discount when they’re bought in pairs to make it easier to get into multi-sub approaches (which is our preferred configuration).

@Chris_Brunhaver, similar question: can I connect the Foundry Sub directly into the M700? PS, I finally received my PS Audio StellarGold PreAmp! The soundstage! The volume control—super happy!! @Paul thanks for answering my question earlier this week on YouTube! Yes, I am the Canada Guy. Decided on the M700 Monos with StellarGold PreAmp.

Yes, we have speaker level inputs. There are two sets of binding posts on the subwoofer plate amp. Just connect each m700 to one using speaker wire.

Great, hope to see and hear them at the Montreal Show

We will have at least one of them there!

Can’t wait thanks again great job on the new products you should be very proud

Thank you! We’ll do our best to show what they’re capable of. Always a bit of a challenge in trade show rooms

Foundry impressions. Great look and finish, tight fast bass, one in each diagonal corner is a good start for balancing room modes. The app, with actual delay options and slope changes is a plus.

I will be ordering a third F12 today to replace my large SVS sub which my son has been interested in. Three subs really can reduce room modes significantly based on my REW simulations and they will look great.

If you wouldn’t mind posting before and after waterfalls I’d really love to see them!

Has anyone tried Stack Audio subwoofer footers yet?

Chris ha opined that the F12 doesn’t need footers.

That will save some money :slightly_smiling_face:

I have a couple sets of Stack footers for two Foundry subs with the correct bolt sizes. I hope to try them out but have been focused on finding the right location for the subs first.
A Different Paul has tried them on an REL sub and has reported.
I will send a set (2 sets if you have two subs) to Foundry owners who wish to evaluate them.
PM me your address(es).

I am getting ready to order one soon. Have heard great things about the sub footers. I have all stack footers under my components and like what they do so i would imagine they will do the same for the F12’s.

I have Stack footers on all my gear, but heard the greatest improvement with the AUVA 100’s on the FR30’s. Thus my interest in the sub pucks.

Looking forward to your thoughts. What are the thread size you ordered?

I believe Chris said the F12 take 8mm bolts. I will check later to make sure.

Get the thread pitch too while you’re asking. M8 bolts used in audio typically show up in one of two different pitches.
