I agree. I appreciate Beato’s long format interviews. I’m not a musician but always end up learning a lot.
I’m in the middle of this video - taking it in small bites - and thoroughly enjoying it. I’m not a jazz guy but am looking forward to taking her work for a spin.
I have seen Hiromi live several times. I think she is a fine pianist but I don’t much care for her live antics and the veering into electronic playing. In fact, I actually find it boring.
