I’m wondering though, with Nelson Pass publishing schematics for nearly everything he sells, there are much more modern architectures with modern parts to consider for DIY.

Nelson even helped me a couple of times answering questions via email. God bass that man. He’s done more to help ordinary people with soldering skills make affordable high-end hifi than about anyone in the business.
