How does the deposit on PS Audio gear work?

I have several pieces of PS Audio gear in my system but I never put down a deposit on gear before its release. I have deposits down on the PMG DAC and preamp. I have the BHK preamp and the MK II as potential trade ins. The preamp is supposed to be released this month. My question is for those of you who have done this before with PS Audio do they contact you to get additional information such as your trade in before shipping out the gear or do they just ship it to you ?

I’ve been told that PSA will contact when they are ready to ship. You will need to arrange payment and get an RMA for sending in the trade item. I think they will probably call to finalize amounts.

You can send an email and ask what potential trade in px will be for your DAC, etc. I got a px for the trade in of my MK1 and then decided to make a deposit - expecting that when it is time to ship I will pay the after trade px for the new PMG, and send one of them to PSA after comparing… better be the MK1!

I am excited for you! We’re just now beginning shipping the preamp and yes, someone will reach out to you if you have a deposit and make sure everything’s ready. The PMG Signature is soooooo much better than its predecessor (itself a remarkable piece of gear) that I cannot wait to hear from you when you get your unit.

Thanks Paul ! I have the BHK preamp which replaced a well known tube preamp after I auditioned the BHK. If the PMG is that much better my wife won’t be seeing me for awhile. One of my audiophile buddies is probably even more anxious than I am to audition it.
